Our Puppies

We Are Not a "Puppy Mill"
Behavior problems and health issues often accompany a puppy mill purchase. Make sure your dog comes from a reputable source.
We spend a lot of time and money caring for each puppy we raise. Our puppies and adult dogs DO NOT live in small cages or pens.
The advantage of buying from reputable breeder
We are sure that you can find puppies for cheaper than what our puppies are priced at but buying the cheapest puppy will not save you money. The truth is that it may cost you more in the end: cheap puppies usually come from puppy mills that breed for mass quantities rather than health, quality and temperament. Puppies need to be raised in a clean environment by healthy mothers and have room to play and explore. They need to have proper health care from birth, quality puppy food for the mother and puppies. Puppies need to be socialized from very young so that you don't have behavior problems as adults. It is true that you pay for what you get when buying a puppy. That does NOT mean that the most expensive puppy is best either. Be sure you don't: buy a puppy on a whim, because you feel like your saving the puppy from it's environment, because you feel sorry for the puppy or because it's the puppy hiding in a corner. You should put time and thought into finding the best breed for you and finding a breeder that you feel comfortable with. It is okay to ask questions, if the breeder does not have the time for that than you don't have the time to make this important decision. Buying a puppy is a big commitment and responsibility so take your time to do it right for you and your new puppy. Our Customer Service and Puppy Quality is Second to None. A top Quality puppy from a reputable breeder is not expensive its PRICELESS!!!
Our Puppies are registered with CKC (Continental Kennel Club), if registration applies.
OUR goal is to breed the ultimate companion dog for loving, responsible owners, and focus on breeds that are as cute, cuddly and companionable as can be. The health of our dogs and puppies is a key factor to raising the prefect puppy for you to love for years!
With the help of our family and friends, our puppies are born and raised underfoot and given lots of love and attention. They are handled daily (weighed, nails clipped, lots of hugs) and get plenty of exposure to normal household noises, from the sound of the vacuum to other dogs, cats, people and pets. A lot of care, time and love goes into raising each litter.
As a responsible breeder, the health, well-being and longevity of our puppies, and the ultimate satisfaction of our puppy buyers are important concerns. We do our best to try to address any concerns and work with the owners in a fair and ethical manner. We stand behind the health of our puppies 100%.
We have a contract for each puppy we sale that covers a 1 year congenital health guarantee. We breed only healthy dogs so we give the 1 year guarantee to back up our breeding standards & ethics. We verbally discuss and review the contract, feeding schedule, hypoglycemia, pet lemon law and other topics related to each puppy sold at the time of the purchase.
We do our best to be accommodating, fair, ethical and treat everyone equally and for this reason we can not change or adjust our polices for anyone. Please read all the pages of our web-site so you understand our polices. It is important to me that the buyers and I have a good relationship.
**Deposits are Non-Refundable**
When you place a deposit on a puppy it is non-refundable. You never loose the deposit, it is applied to the price of the puppy and can be applied to any litter. It will never be refunded.
Chihuahua, Morkie, Miniature Dachshund and any of the smaller breeds come in many sizes. I am asked often if I have teacup in these breeds and others - there really is no such thing as Teacup for any breed. If you look at the breed standards it never mentions teacup, there are toy sizes not teacup. I think anything under 10 pounds is toy size and is still a small size companion. Tiny - Tiny sized dogs have serious health conditions and can be hard to care for.
CALCULATING THE PUPPIES ADULT WEIGHT - This is for small breed dogs ONLY. Do not use this chart for calculating large breeds.
AT THE AGE OF 2 MONTHS: MULTIPLY THE WEIGHT X 4
AT THE AGE OF 3 MONTHS: MULTIPLY THE WEIGHT X 3
AT THE AGE OF 4 MONTHS: MULTIPLY THE WEIGHT X 2
SMALL BREED puppies go through a rapid growth spurt from 2 months to 4 months....but you should see some slowing down by the age of six months. Smaller to mid-size breeds are usually considered fully grown by the age of one year....while your larger breeds such as the German Shepherd, Mastiff & Rottweiler can continue to grow until the age of 2 yrs. Small boned dogs generally stop growing by the age of one year.
Keep in mind this chart is a Quesstamation only. As with everything there are exceptions to every rule, we try our best to tell you what the puppy will weigh as an adult. We have had puppies turn out smaller and larger than we predicted and that is why we can't guarantee the size.
I really dislike the term RUNT or BIGGEST, it makes it sound sickly, like there is something wrong. The word RUNT means small and the biggest is just the largest of all the litter mates. In EVERY litter there is a largest puppy and a smallest puppy, it is just the way it works out. The smallest puppy has no greater risk of being unhealthy then the largest puppy or any other puppy in the litter - this is just a myth.
Many times the so called RUNT of the litter turns out to be the largest puppy as an adult, or the largest turns out to be the smallest as an adult. They catch up or slow down and have no problems, they just had a slow or a fast start and someone had to be the smallest/largest puppy. I don't use the word RUNT - it gives people the wrong belief.
When coming to visit my kennel please do not bring your dogs or cats. I do not allow any animals during the visitations or when you are picking up your puppy. They are not allowed to get out of the vehicle if you do bring them.
The puppies can go to their new homes at 7 weeks old if not being shipped and 8 weeks old if being shipped. They have the first of the puppy vaccinations at 4 weeks old and we do not allow anyone to hold, touch or handle them until one week after that vaccination for health safety reasons: they have their mothers immunity until 4 weeks old and than they have none until the 1st vaccination and they are vulnerable to all diseases until about 7 days after the 1st vaccination so we do not want anyone around them until after the immune system is protected by the vaccination. They are tiny and are very vulnerable to anything.
We allow the puppy buyers to come out once and visit the puppies. Than we have the owners come back again when they are 7 weeks old to pick up the puppy. We do not allow buyers to come weekly because it is more chance of the puppies being exposed to things with people coming to often, we are very cautious and protective of these babies for every ones benefit.
PUPPY STAGES: We like to place the puppy in their new home between 7 - 8 weeks old: 7 weeks if possible, this is the age that will handle the change best with the least amount of stress.
0 to 7 Weeks
Neonatal, Transition, Awareness, and Canine Socialization. the puppies are with the mother and litter-mates. During this period, puppies learn about social interaction, play, and inhibiting aggression from mother and litter-mates. Puppies must stay with their mother and litter-mates during this critical period. Puppies learn the most important lesson in their lives--they learn to accept discipline. The puppies should not stay with their mother and litter-mates after 8 weeks old as they become attached and dependent on them.
7 to 14 Weeks
Human Socialization Period, the best age to be introduced to their new family and home. The puppy now has the brain waves of an adult dog, but his attention span is short. This period is when the most rapid learning occurs. Learning at this age is permanent so this is a perfect time to start training. Also, this is the ideal time to introduce the puppy to new things that will play an important part in his/her life. Introduce the puppy to different people, places, animals, and sounds in a positive, non-threatening way.
9 to 11 Weeks
Fear Imprint Period. Avoid frightening the puppy during this period. Any traumatic, frightening or painful experience will have a more lasting effect on the puppy than if it occurred at any other time in its life. We care deeply about every puppy that we bring into the world, and do our best to ensure that our puppies are placed in the best homes that we can find. We look for buyers who understand the commitment and responsibilities that go along with owning a pet. Puppies grow into dogs and they go through stages along the way. Dog ownership requires work, time and money on the owner's part. Please think about the responsibilities of owning a puppy/dog before you make the purchase "All Sales Are Final".
