Hi Sandy,
I just wanted you to know that "Saba" has adjusted here very well. She is a very curious dog which will be good I think as a service dog. She also doesn't startle easily. I've had her to the coffee shop a few times and she did well on those occasions. Also had her to my parents house and was not bothered by the cats. I am amazed at how well she has been over all. She will be starting pint sized play sessions at a local dog training place. We will also start our puppy obedience class soon. I want to thank you for suggesting her to me, it seems like we are a good fit.
  Thanks again, Diane M.

Well I will try to get some pics sent to you soon. Thanks again. Merry Christmas.

Hi Sandy!

During this time of the year it only seems fit to thank others for the blessings in our lives.  With that being said, We have a lot of thanking to do to you!  Honestly words can not describe the joy that Lexi brings to our lives everyday!  She is such a spirit!  You were totally right about there being something special about her.  She is so smart!  She learned sit, down, roll over, fetch and shake at about 2 months.  I wish I could tell you that she also knows how to do stay and come but we get a little confused with those.  We think stay means bark and jump around like crazy so we started using the word hold instead and that seems work better!

She makes us smile everyday and is totally a part of our family!  There is nothing she likes better than cuddling and playing with Erik and me!  She goes to work with dad frequently and loves the frequent play dates with Lucy.  I wish you could see the two of them together!  They roll and tumble and kiss constantly!  They just love each other!

We are honestly blessed to have met you and to have such an amazing puppy in our lives!!

Thank you so much for such an amazing gift,

Katie & Erik, MN

Hi Sandy,
This seems to be a good time of year to say thank you to those that have had a good impact on my life.  Thank you for the cutest, most loveable puppy.  She is sitting on my lap while I type this.  Jerry adores her!!!!   He is quoted as saying, 'Karen this is the best gift you have ever given me, other than our 4 kids."  The two of them spend the day together going out to lunch with friends or working in Jerry's work room.  She comes to school with me once a week, and is the "reading dog".  The kids get to hold her on their laps while they read.  She is so good with them.  One of my little girls in 2nd grade wrote me a thank you note (class assignment yesterday) saying, 'thank you for letting me play with Lucy."  She drew a picture of a scruffy looking dog and told me to "go home and read it to Lucy, and that man that sometimes comes" (Jerry).

Lucy is not quite perfect about house training, but she has a pretty good idea, when we are around she will ring the bell to go out.  She will sit, lie down, roll over, and fetch a ball on command.  She is happiest when she is just sitting in our arms.

She is quite a watch dog too.  She will give her growl and bark if something seems strange or when something is going on outside she cant see.  Otherwise she is quiet and doesn't bark much.

Well there you have it.  Thank you for cutest, little addition to our lives.  We love her.      Say hi to your sister, and have a great holiday.

Bella has a lot of white streaking throughout her coat and I so
often think of Dolly when noticing that.  You breed great dogs.  I'd
definitely buy another one of your dogs.  I've had several people
come through my doors and remark how mellow and sweet natured Bella is.

Thanks,

Hi Sandy!
We are truly enjoying Rex.  He is such a little sweetie!  Here are some pics that I emailed to friends and family announcing his arrival (see below).  Our poodle, Ozzie isn't quite sure what to think of him yet, but I know with time they will get accustomed to one another & will grow to be the best of friends.  Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful puppy, we feel truly blessed to have him in our family!

Good Morning Sandy-
I wanted to tell you that the puppies are doing fantastic!  When we got home on Saturday they ate like troopers and went potty on the pads!  They slept great in the kennel together and whined a few times at night to get out and go potty.  They have not gone potty in the kennel at all...I'm shocked at how good they are at the pads!

Thank you so much!

Hello Sandy,

I had to write an email to give you an update on Kasey, the miniature dachshund that we purchased from you a little over a week ago.  Because of his unique coloring (a lot of white and some gray and black) and the fact that he has two striking blue eyes we get stopped everywhere we go.  He also has not had any accidents in the house in over two days, thanks to the care and training that you had given him prior to us picking him up, he learned quickly.  Because of the time you took to potty train him and crate train him, he has adapted quickly to our new home.  He is so smart and loves to run and play with our other miniature dachshund Hunter.  He is such a wonderful addition to our home and I want to  thank you.  Also, the time that you took to send us updated pictures as he was growing and changing his first seven weeks, and also the time you took to talk with me made the experience like none other.  I cannot thank you enough!  I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a puppy.  This has been the best puppy experience we have ever had, and we have had quite a few puppies in our household.  I know this is due to everything you did for him his first seven weeks.

Thanks Again,

Timm and Jennifer Farr

Hey Sandy,   Sue had ''Bugsy'' to the vet today for his booster and his first check-up and he got a clean bill of health. Our vet commennded you on the job your doing with this kind of breeding: So are hat's are off to you for that! She also admired his outgoing affection and personality for such a small dog, we tip our hat's to you again. Sue has him speaking and shaking hands already so we both know he has a big dog attitude in such a little frame. We both know he'll never replace the times we had with our Shih Tzu but is already making his own place in our home and hearts. So thank you again for this little guy.    Bryan & Sue Fosse

Here is a picture of Mo Jo after his first grooming experience.  I thought you might like to see him all decked out.  I've also taught him a few tricks, he gets on his hind legs and dances around in circles and when I say bang bang he lays down on his side and pretends he is dead.  He is so smart!  It took only 15 minutes to teach him that!!!  You are the greatest!!!!!!  P.S.  My sister & Scottie are doing very well togeather.  She even takes showers with Barb.  She just hops right in!!!!   Julie

Hi Sandy,

I have been meaning to write you for months to thank you for our dog, Daisy.  She has become a great friend for my 3 year old daughter and is in awe of our new son.  She is not sure what to do with him so she licks him non-stop.
With me on maternity leave she has been able to go outside non-stop and she plays a great game of fetch.
She has grown up so nicely.
Thank you so much for a wonderful addition to our family.

Hi! We recently got a female Chihuahua from you, we named her Mia, and she is the best thing that has came into our lives. She's so cute, friendly, and energetic. My whole family loves her, and always comes over to visit her. She gets along great with my mom's Mini Italian Grey Hound. I had mentioned my boyfriend Erik had wanted a lab, but he's so in love with Mia that he has decided not to get a lab. He spoils her rotten with little toys and cant wait to get home everyday to see her! we are extremely happy with our little "baby" we call her. She is still getting used to being potty trianed, and she's getting better.

Thanks again,
Jess and Erik, and Mia!

Sandy,
I hope you don't mind me sending you these pictures every month, just want
to keep you up to date with our new kid, he has the best disposition of
any German Shepherd we have ever had and is so good around the grand daughter.
I have been working with him since day one, he is very good at voice
commands and is trying to understand hand commands, he is retrieving
doubles now, he rides in the truck back and forth to work every day.
Anyway we are very proud of him, thank you so much,
Steve and Joyce Coleman

Hi Sandy.

This is Jennifer and Honey. Honey graduated at the top of her Puppy Class and was the smallest and most popular puppy in school. Honey attends a Chihuahua play group once a week.
Honey is doing great. She loves to go to the dog park to play and gets lots of attention everywhere we go.
She knows about 10 tricks now and is working on more everyday. She loves to perform her tricks in front of large crowds. Thank you for such a sweet dog!

Thanks,
Jennifer and Honey

Hello Sandy,

This is Toye Benson, I purchased a darling Dorkie from you last week.  I just wanted to touch base with you.  We decided to name her Bailey.  We have been to Lake Harriett several times and we can barely walk a block because we have easily over a dozen people stopping us to compliment our little puppy.  She is such a bouncy bright bundle of joy.  Thank you again and once she is older I will be sure to take another picture.

Cheers!

Sandy I am so sorry I haven’t written,  I too have thought of you each day.  I have been wanting to sit down and write or call, first days of school are so busy and then there is this darling, absolutely perfect puppy to play and cuddle with when I get home.   Lucy is perfect, delightful, a hit with everyone she meets.  (You will be getting some referred buyers, I am sure).  She eats well, plays with passion, kisses with glee, potty's outside almost every time, travels in the car beautifully, runs beside us (so not to get stepped on) like a pro, sleeps up to 5 hours at night without needing and asking to go out,  runs into her bed when she needs a nap all on her own, knows her name and the direction “go quickly,” duh, did I say perfect!  In her spare time she steals everyone’s hearts.  We have seen Lexie a couple of times and I would say the above is true with her  as well.  The girls enjoy playing together when we have had them together.

Hi Sandy- I just wanted to say thanks for helping Jameson create the perfect marriage proposal!  It was very special to me because he knows how excited I am about the puppy.  What an amazing day that was!

NOTE: Suzanne's boyfriend had me make a Dog Tag that said "WILL YOU MARRY ME" and have the puppy wear it when they came to see the puppy for the first time. I was so excited to be a part of this!!

Lilly is doing very well.  She is such a doll.  She is up to 2.5 pounds.

She is eating and sleeping well, and she loves to go camping with us in the motor home. We think she likes that it is smaller than the house, and she can see both of us at the same time.

She has been a hit at every campground we have been to.

We gave your name and website to some sweet people we met that were looking for a Chihuahua and said she was the prettiest one they had seen anywhere!!

So, kudos to you as a breeder!

She loves to be warm and snuggle with us.  Thanks again for providing us with such a wonderful little addition to our lives!

It is we who need to thank you.  They are the absolutely  sweetest, most darling puppy's ever!  Surprise - Casper is growing like a weed, big and strong at 2 lbs. 10 oz now, and wild!  (I guess he came out of his shell)  Wendy steels the show though.  She is eating pretty well, but is still 1 lb., 6 oz. (She has just discovered Pet Botanics lamb and rice, (loves it) so hopefully that will help.   She loves to play and entertain their many guests. (I bought her a T-shirt yesterday that says "Little Miss Popular" on it.)   They have absolutely captured our hearts!!!!
Casper seems to be totally socialized. Wendy is full of energy, and desperately wants to be outside with the bigger dogs, but when it's cold she begins shaking almost immediately. They have tons of tiny dog toys, and some cat toys too.  They love to chew on bully sticks.   They are both using the pee pads when in a more confined area, but find that difficult to do when in the wide open spaces.  (Will work on that one.)

We'll send you the really good pictures of Casper a Wendy when we get some.  Can't wait to see them on your web site!      Sherry and Bob

Hi Sandy,
Well I will try and type with one hand. I am holding Otis, he is sound asleep in my arms. I took him to work with me today. I didn't want him crated all day.  The pup is doing fantastic with the pads. He eats like a horse. He is getting very spoiled already. We have only had him in his (large) pen at night so far. He is sleeping well now. My husband left his shirt in his bed that he sleeps with it all the time. His favorite spot is in front of the electric fireplace. He caught on to that as soon as he came home. That is Oscars absolute favorite so they are now starting to share.Otis will usually chase Oscar away from there. Well I will keep you updated. Thanks again for another great pup.     Lisa

Just thought I would let you know how the weekend went with our new puppy.  We named him Charley and the transition so far is going very well.   He was excellent on the ride home – rides very well, does not seem to bother him at all.    At night we have been keeping him in the kennel next to our bed which has been going very well I think he is really getting to like the kennel, and it really has not been too hard because when night comes he is so played out he just goes right to sleep, even the first night he didn’t cry much at all,  considering it was the first night.   We are still working on the potty training using the puppy pads, he has had some accidents but we are working on getting him in a routine and I don’t think it will take him long to catch on.   For being such a young puppy he seems to catch onto things very quickly.   We have two larger dogs a shitzu “Sam” ,  and half calvalier/half shitzu “Oscar”  and they are not quite sure of how to handle the little guy but both are adjusting to having him around very well, and just love to play with him, it is very interesting because I think they are a little confused as to how to handle him because he is so small, but they are so gentle with him and so far there has been no problems with jealousy – I have no doubt that within a week or two they are all going to be the best of buddies.     Charley is a lovable, playful, adorable little puppy and we love him already, we are thoroughly enjoying him.    It is so hard not to spoil him though because he is just such a cuddler (and so am I).     I would say you definitely know what you are doing, we have raised several puppies and this is by far the most well adjusted little puppy we have ever had, and appears that it is going to be an easy puppy to train and I credit you with that, we couldn’t be happier.   I’ll keep you updated on his progress and will send pictures as we go.

 Thank you!  Suzanne

I am e mailing you on behalf of my sister Barb and her new puppy she named "Scottie".  They have really bonded!  She loves her very much, they are going to puppy school and a lot of walks.  Wherever she goes, people ask her where she got her!  I personally want to thank you for your patience and kindness when we came out to your house to look at puppies for her.  I'm sure it was a hard thing for my sister,  (replacing her 16 year old dog).  But Barb is smiling and laughing again and loves coming home from work again.  I guess I am telling you this because "you" are a very special person!  Through your puppies you work some kind of magic.  You make people smile and give them joy through what you are doing.  Thank You!
P.S.  Mojo (my puppy)  is doing great!!  We celebrated his 1st birthday with a cake from Dairy Queen and of course many presents!  You have touched my sister and I in ways you'll never know.  God Bless Sandy.  Julie Lane

Hello Sandy,

We cannot tell you how much we love the baby.
He is wonderful and such a joy to watch and hold.

He's learning the "ring bells" by the door to go
outside. Of course sometimes he just likes playing
with the bells but that's a puppy for you and we
take him outside every time he rings them.

He has had no accidents inside the house that were
his fault. We need to learn too. He knew exactly where
he was suppose to go to do his jobs on his third day
with us. His intelligence is amazing.

Thank you so much for your kindness and for the
beautiful little boy.

I'll attach a couple of pictures of Dud Lee.

Hi Sandy!

Pebbles is doing very well.  I don't hear a peep out of her all night, every night, even the first.  She wakes up with a waging tail and is as happy as can be.  She even survived the grandkids this weekend.  You really prepared her well for her homecoming.  I thank you very much!

Hi Sandy,

WE  NAMED HER ABBY!  Our 20 month old pretty much decided since it was the easiest for her to say.

She is doing great.  We left her for the first time at home by herself on 1-5 for a couple hours. She did great!  Anything longer than a couple hours we still take her with.  She just loves people and other dogs.  We brought her to Petco in Duluth on Sunday evening and put her on a leash.  She did quite well being her first time on a leash and out in a public place like that( it was a quiet night at Petco so it was not overwhelming for us or her.).  One guy said she was ridiculously cute.

I hope to send you some new pix of her soon.  I can tell she is getting bigger already.

Happy New Year,

We want to thank you so much for for giving us the opportunity to make ALLEGRO part of our home.  She has brought so much joy to our lives.  I don't think Don ever knew how much you can love a little 4-legged member of your family until now.  She is the light of our lives and always makes us smile!  When she looks at us with that adorable face and those beautiful, dark round eyes, she makes a connection right to our heart and paints a perfect picture of unconditional love.  I just don't think it would be possible to love her any more than we do, but somehow it seems to grow each and every day.

Something I have to tell you about her that was a bit of a surprise to us is that she absolutely loves to retrieve, fetch or whatever you want to call it.  I think she would chase after her braided tug toy that we got from you, her baby tennis ball, or her furry animal toy for hours at a time if we could manage to stick it out that long.  She runs full force to get it, runs back with it and looks up at you with excited anticipation of it being thrown again.  If Don & I are both in the room, she alternates who she brings it to.  Doesn't want to play favorites, you know.

He potty training was really quite easy.  At night and any time we left the house, we kept her in a portacrib with blanketing on half and a piddle pad on the other half.  She caught on right away to using the pad.  And of course, any time we took her outside, we ran the bells hanging on the door with her nose.  The 3rd day we had her home, she actually went to the door and rang the bells on her own for the first time, and she did go potty when we took her out.  Like you told us, we did take her our every time she rang the bells whether she was playing with them or was serious about needing to go out.  She very seldom had any accidents in the house, unless we just weren't paying close enough attention or we had a bunch of the family over and she waited to long to go ring the bells.

By the way, she is the absolute hit at the vets.  Everyone thinks she's the cutest thing ever!

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you, Sandy!  And just so you know, Allegro isn't spoiled at all. Ha! Ha!

Good Morning

Puppy is doing great (MASTIFF). I’ve had many dogs in my life and he has to be the smartest of all. He picks up stuff (good & bad) very quickly.  He comes to work with us every day and has already established his own little routine

He is very sweet and is getting lots of love.

Hi I just wanted to update you on our puppy. We named he

her.
But Roxy's little hairs a coming in, and she's still so tiny, but bigger

Hi Sandy, I just wanted to update you on how Charley (Morkie) is doing.  He has been an absolute joy.  He loves people of all ages and dogs of all breeds.  He plays hard and then snuggles up for a nap.  If I take him out somewhere I have to plan ahead because I know people will stop us so they can pet him and tell him how cute he is and it usually puts us behind schedule.  he has such a great temperament and I can't imagine that there is a better dog out there.  THANK YOU!!

Hi Sandy! I just wanted to shoot you a quick note and let you know that everything is going great with these two. I have been having so much fun with them. We named them Ava (Chihuahua) and Asher (Yorkchi), Ava has quite the personality and is showing all of her princess qualities, which I love. Asher is being the little prince charming and be so sweet and snuggly and adorable. They slept SO well together the past 2 nights. I can't thank you enough. I never had considered getting two puppies at once but so far it's working out super well. I am so in love with these two! Attached are a few new photos of them. : ) Talk to you soon!

Hi Sandy,
Well, it's been almost 4 weeks since we got our puppy from you and she is doing great.  We finally named her Peanut (teacup Dachshund) because of her size, of course.  We took her to Paws on Grand Avenue today and you would have thought she was a movie star.  We could barely get down a sidewalk without having to stop so people could see her or pet her or talk to her or admire her.  Everybody LOVES her!!  She even won a contest at one of the shops on Grand Avenue for being the cutest dog .  If you watched KARE11 she was on the news today when they covered the Paws on Grand Avenue event.  She was the little dog wrestling with our other dog.
She has also been the crowd favorite at both of my daughters softball games.  I can't tell you how much fun she is to have around.  Our other dog loves playing with her and has learned how to be very gently with her while she jumps on him and bites his ears.  They both run through the grass with bunny hops in their steps.  We just laugh.
I wanted to thank you again and let you know how wonderful she is doing!!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on our puppy.  We did decide to name her Bamby (after her parents).  She is doing really well: she only potties outside (by her choosing) and only had a couple of accidents the first day.  The only time she whines is when she wants us to hold her - which is quite frequent - and we are more than happy to accommodate that.  We all LOVE her to pieces and my husband, John, can't stop saying how sweet she is.
Thanks again for the loving puppy,
Angela A. & family, Shoreview, MN

I wanted to write and tell you how happy we are with Chloe  (Broodle Griffon) and how well she is doing.  She was comfortable by Saturday evening and very playful.  She has not yet had an accident in the house.  She won't even use the pee pads.  She waits until we take her outside.  This includes holding it for 8 hours at night in her playpen!  She goes to bed with minimal fuss, she is playful and happy.  We can always find her about 2" behind one of us.  All around she is a wonderful pet!

The only thing we have to urge her to do is eat.  She gets distracted easily, so we still feed her by hand.  She eats well when we do that.

Thank you for such a wonderful puppy we love her already!

I can't thank you enough for Mo Jo. (Morkie) He is a wonderful puppy!  He is well adjusted, loves everyone he comes into contact with and visa versa.  He is happy and full of energy.  You are a wonderful breeder.  I still look at your web site from time to time and you are always putting up "good" info about your dogs and caring for them.  That is truly appreciated as well.  Thank you for our phone conversations when I had questions, and all of the e mails.  You are the best!  Julie L. - Minnesota
P.S.  My sister is a professional photographer, so you'll be getting some great pics of him soon.
